This is really a terrible time in America. It doesn't even *feel* good to be an American anymore. I mean, I used to take pleasure in being of the attitude that I was better than everyone else in the world just for being born here. Sure that was a Hitler-esqe policy, but it was nice, wasn't it?
People from other countries would say that we were arrogant assholes for even thinking that way, but we didn't even have to care because we were so busy with just being AMERICANS and ordering Venti Caramel Macchiatos!
Now, we are forced to accept that they were right because we have nothing left to be arrogant about. I can't afford Macchiatos anymore.
